Our courtesy car will pick you up at your accommodation in the Sorrento peninsula between 8.00-8.30 and take you to the port to board the boat of your choice, You will then be greeted and introduced to the staff on board, you will depart towards Punta Campanella where you can admire the fantastic Sorrento coast. Off the coast of Capri we will start the fishing part of the trip, we will prepare the baits together and we will rig the fishing rods. A catch is guaranteed! In these waters rich in fish, there are Blackspot/red seabream, white breams, sea bass and snapper but octopuses and squids are also very common. After fishing we will return to the Bay of Ieranto, a splendid bay where you can take a fantastic bath in the most crystalline waters of the area.
Once we drop anchor, our cooking school begins, according to the availability of raw materials and catches, we will cook the dishes with the original recipes of our ancestors. Normally the recipes are pasta with squid, eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti alla Nerano or poached fish but we have no limits to our imagination and recipes. After cooking we will all have lunch together adding other dishes to those prepared such as mozzarella & tomato salad and a surprise dessert.
After lunch you can relax on board sunbathing or snorkeling in the Bay, the little current and the scarcity of boats make this activity pleasant, relaxing and fun, if you are a good swimmer you can also visit the Zenzinada cave or also known as a cave of the Nativity. Before your experience of cooking, fishing, sea and food comes to an end, you can enjoy a glass of chilled Limoncello whilst overlooking the wonderful coastline as we return back to the port.
